Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. These will remain in force from term to term until specifically terminated by either party giving half a term’s notice.

2. Your regular time slot is confirmed for the whole academic year.  Periods of interruption to lessons, such as holidays, Inset Days, another after-school activity or school trips, will still need to be paid for.

3. Sometimes, I receive cancellations due to illness or another event and I may be able to reschedule a missed lesson within the same week.  I will notify you by What's App should a cancelled slot become available.

4. No fees will be refunded except where the teacher has to cancel a lesson which cannot be rescheduled.

5. An invoice will be sent out at the start of the academic year/ or when lessons begin, for the whole year.  A monthly standing order should be arranged for the first of every month (total amount on the invoice, divided by 12), with the first payment taking place before the first lesson.

6. Very exceptionally, the teacher may wish to reschedule a lesson cancelled by a student, where notice of such cancellation has been given in advance.

7. Any student wanting me to assess them for their Duke of Edinburgh award need to agree goals with me before application. Practise records need to be kept for evidence.
